SMYN has tainted my mind

I was at a religious meeting recently. The speaker was teaching us some deep spiritual principles. At one point, he stated, "And so, brothers and sisters, I implore you to..."

Right then my brain screamed, "... SHOW ME YOUR NEWS!" Fortunately, I didn't say anything out loud. XD

Well, that and have a "fan" moment where I randomly meet someone who has followed my work diligently IRL. Sadly, that has still eluded me.

The best story I've heard is either people LOLing out loud in class while listening to an episode...

Or when my friend Omniswell came across two random people listening to the MK Debate episode in one of his college classes. He said "I know Youko and SamuraiPanda" and had to take out his phone to prove it, since the listeners didn't believe him at first.

Anyway, I've searched desperately for anyone in my school who listens to SMYN, and have found nothing. I am disappointed. I'm also hard-pressed to find anyone who even knows that there are big Brawl tournaments; there's only two that I've ever met.

Yeah my school's pretty dry when it comes to brawlers as well. I have one friend who I play who is pretty good but he has no clue on any of the competitive scene. That I know of........ O_o
