Hey, remember how Tony and I raved about Banjo on the fancast? Well...

...didn't see that coming.

Well that just ruins the boxart.

Don't get me wrong, I love Banjo-Kazooie to death, but I want the game LESS now. This is SONIC and SEGA Racing dammit!

(REALLY dreading the day I have to go and buy a game that has the "Family Games" logo on it)

Oh no, this game I wanted to get is somehow... less appealing because it has a crowded Boxart? Because it has characters you really like in it? Are you people impossible to please...?

Oh right. Sonic fandom. Move along...

Oh, I'm a happy Sonic fanboy. My second favorite series is in it too now. I wonder if we'll get a Spiral Mountain level with tons of Banjo music? I wonder how far they went with this.

So excited!

So I'm assuming they're only in the 360 version. What about the other versions? Hoping for someone other than Mario in the Wii version.[/speculate]

I guess you're kind of right, keep in mind I posted this immediately after I saw the boxart. What you read was what was going through my mind.

My friend got REALLY pissed off when he found out that Sonic was in Super Smash Bros. At the time, I didn't really understand what he was talking about. He wasn't a Sonic hater or anything. The more the merrier right?

I think I understand what he was feeling. I just don't like seeing Banjo meddling around with Sega characters. Maybe it's because I'd rather see Banjo stray from vehicles. Nothing against Nuts & Bolts, but it didn't really feel like a Banjo game to me.

I'm still going to buy the game, I'm just not that excited about Banjo. (If this had been announced about two years ago I would be uber excited. Thanks for changing me for the worse, Internet.)

Banjo was in Diddy Kong racing. This isn't anything new for the series, hell, he showed up there before his first game, and according to some on the internet, he shows up in this one after his last one.

However, I'm certain the bear and bird will keep showing up regardless.

I'm pretty sure that Banjo was in Diddy Kong Racing because he was created for that game.

If I recall correctly Banjo was created for Banjo Kazooie and was intended to make a cameo in Diddy Kong Racing, but Banjo Kazooie got delayed and DKR came out first.
I'm sure a hardcore Rare fan could explain it better, but I'm pretty sure Banjo's apperance in DKR was just a cameo,
