Sorry. It was just too much. Signatures are a great place to put a piece of your personality, but considering the fact that they attach to all your posts, they need to be restrained. As of right now, signatures that exceed 250px (whether it contains images or text), it will be automatically clipped (unless you run garbage like Internet Explorer version 6).
Have a nice day!
Glad to hear this
Seeing sigs 5x larger than an actual post gets rather annoying :/
Dont think we could maybe make avatars go up to 150x150? If you don't want to, that's fine, just what I'm used to at other places.
I think that 150x150 is a little ridiculous. 100x100 is the accepted standard in most places, and some forums don't accept any larger at all unless the administrators mod the forum. Proboards for example does not allow more than 100x100 without a mod.
Is it possible to extend the character limit for signatures? 255 characters is tiny, especially if your signature contains URL links (which mine does). It wouldn't be so bad if there was some way to make the limit exclude BBcode, which no one sees in the final signature anyway.
I can't even get my animated sigs to work. It says my HTML is off and I know not how to change this.

You cannot use HTML at all.

Ah. Is there something I'm not getting with the gifsoup stuff? There was a specific one I wanted to use, and it just shows up as text.

S'far as I know, just use an image tag.
