As discussed in Episode 54, it would be pretty cool to make a Show Me Your News wikia with a compilation of facts about the show and its episodes. This would be a great place for "How accurate were we" to transition to, and more.

I still can't get over how overblown the whole online aspect of Brawl was. That's the only area I take pride in getting "right". I warned people for ages that online play would never become the standard. Live tournaments would live on. Playing in the same physical room would always trump playing miles apart. All I had to do was cite Halo as a reference. MLG hosts live events (they host online events too, but the real prize and prestige is always in the live event).

I'm gonna point out the (cowboy) elephant in the room. We don't have a wikia yet, someone should get on that.

Project SMYN dictionary
-First thing I thought of when I heard this idea. Every Yokoism, and SMYN meme needs it's own page.

Project SMYNédex
-A page for every host, guest, and maybe forum member.

Project Awesome Games
-There are a couple games important enough in SMYN history to deserve their own thread.

Project Segment directory
-All segments need pages.


Project Podcast
-Every podcast needs it's own page with the following sections.
-Segments
-Games discussed
-Memes started
-Accurate predictions
-Inaccurate predictions
-Trivia (optional)

This is a surprisingly good start to what the wikia needs to be. I say surprising because of your thus-far absolutely insane status that I am unused to logic. Moving on.

All that is a great idea, however, move 'Memes created' to 'Trivia' as they are basically the same thing. As far as pages go, there needs to be extensive input for the vidcasts as well as each part of the SMYN review and SMYN Tidbits(Whatever happened to those).

As far as the SMYN Review goes, I'd say it needs a main overview page and then have separate pages for the individual segments.

I also believe there needs to be some mention of WTFPokemon, as well as the original topic and the original forums. And the separate, early segments of the show also need individual pages(because Psycho didn't go into specifics);

- Who's In?
- The Rundown
- Roundtable
- Mailtime

And I believe we need a joke page for Wayko.

Also, the Top Ten's need to be referenced, as well as any contest held by SMYN. This could all be detailed under 'SMYN Contests' and don't need individual pages for each contest unless it is truly warranted.

Sounds great, and you guys seem to have the right idea. It would really be a ton of work though. I'm willing to help of course, but we'll need quite a bit of manpower.

Does anyone know how we'd get something like this started though? Is there a wikia template or something?

Also, given SMYN's humorous nature, I see nothing wrong with the site's content being tongue-in-cheek similar to TVTropes or TFWiki

Well, lets not make it so big that we'll be lost for hours like we are on TVtropes.

No, let's DO that. More time people spend on the Wiki, the more likely it is they'll be converted to full-on SMYN fans.
