Category: The List

We’ve fallen far guys. We thought IGN was the bottom but oh how wrong we were. Please forgive us guys, because this week we went to Metacritic for our list. The horror, the drama, the sadness. It’s Metacritic’s list of the 25 Top Rated 3DS Games of all time as of the end of the last quarter. Somehow we take 25 games and stretch the conversation to an hour. Also Ben gets up and goes away a lot.

They’re spooky! They’re insane! They’re evil as all hell and we love it! This week’s list comes from complex.com, and is a list of the Top 50 Villains in Movie History. It sticks with live action villains, so don’t expect any Disney or Pixar villains on here. Even so it has some great choices, so sit back and pop open the list for some fuuuuun times!

The List is back to normal, and we’re back to using an IGN list. So “you win some, you lose some” is basically what we’re saying. This time it’s IGN’s Top 25 Anime Characters and boy oh boy is it a doozie. Somehow we still managed to stretch a list of 25 characters into an hour and a half of show, isn’t that fun? It’s fun. The most fun. Also the #1 spot is stupid.

That’s right everybody, RTM Radio is back and better than ever! We’re kicking this new show off with a bang, this 4 hour show contains one song from each of our respective favorite 25 video game soundtracks as well as four songs chosen by guests Darkurai, Missingno, Joe Bush, and Youko giving us a whopping total of 54 songs!

While this 4 hour monstrosity of a show is not at all indicative of how long RTM Radio’s gonna go, we hope to have this format be the way it goes from now on. That includes guest picks every episode, but will most likely only contain 9-10 songs an episode if that. Whether it will be weekly or biweekly to start is still being fully decided. We hope you enjoy!

So without further ado, please enjoy the premiere episode of RTM Radio and this latest episode of the list. A track listing, for your enjoyment!

The Wii was not a great system. It started out wonderful and a sign of the future but then just plummeted as time went on. Hell, we recorded a whole four parts of aretrospective on the console so I shouldn’t go into too much detail about it. Point is it still had some great games, and today we’re gonna talk about computerandvideogames.com’s list of the Top 50 Wii games.

Doba’s in Canada and frankly can’t be bothered with your silly “podcasts” at the moment. So Ben did what every feral cat does when it’s cornered: he brought Joe Bush in to help. At least that’s what I assume feral cats do when cornered, I’ve never actually seen one. Ben’s not actually a feral cat, we’re sorry for our lie.

Joe’s always been our friend with the most love for older systems and the PS1 is one of the ones close to his heart… I think. So please enjoy Retro-Sanctuary’s list of the Top 100 PS1 games.

It’s 2014! … Has been for over a month! You might be asking yourself: “Why is RTM releasing their Top 10s for 2013 in February?” Let us answer that question with a question! Why are the Oscars in March? Check and mate. And Yahtzee. And Bingo. You get where I’m coming from.

So here you go, Doba and Ben’s Top 10 shows, movies, and video games of 2013, where we say good bye to the year in style. Not really. Just listen to the show.

Got a suggestion for a future list? Let us know in the comments!

We’re back for part 2! If you want a description, go read and listen to part 1! This week on The List we continue last episode’s list of the Best Undiscovered PS2 Games from racketboy. It’s still pretty great and we’re still finding games we want to play so… that’s a thing I guess? It’s been a busy week so this one is short, but we’ll hopefully be back in full swing soon!

We had to split this week’s list up into two parts because it was taking too long for us. Which is a weird thing to say about something RTM puts out, don’t you think? I think so too. Let us think this together. This week’s list is the first half or so of Racketboy’s Best Undiscovered PS2 Games and is a rather unorthodox choice considering our usual types of lists. But it’s cool, and generates some good discussion so we’ll take it!
